Audition "Change Volume" wheel (HUD) is gone

Hey there,

I'm having a problem with Adobe Audition, since today that little "wheel" where I can change the volume of a track or selection is gone and I can't find any advice of how to get it back.

It might just be a stupid keyboard shortcut that hides/shows it but I couldn't get it back so far.

Also restarting Audition or resetting the workspace didn't help.

Can anyone please help me?

Found it myself that thing is called HUD,

Shortcut is [shift] + U
or got to "view" panel and select "show HUD"

I had the same problem. It was hidden on the far right of the waveform, exposing only the tiny dots on the left edge of the bar. Easy to miss. Shift-U does turn it on and off

Hello - having some issues with audition. One being HUD. I have a Udemy course am following that looks nothing like my experience also am looking for the HUD- talk to me like I'm 4- exactly where next to waveform is it? Have looked everywhere and followed steps cannot see it ANYWHERE and I'm going slowly mad!

It isn't exactly anywhere - it can be placed anywhere on the waveform or spectral display that you want it. If you want to fix it somewhere, then there's a little pin to do that with:

You can toggle it on and off with Shift+U.

What if "HUD" is not in the view menu and shift "U" doesn't make it display?

The HUD is only applicable in Waveform view so if you are in Multitrack view it isn't available.

Actually, it's HUD (Head Up Display) not HUB... (I modified the answer marked as correct from HUB to HUD so that nobody got confused as to its real name...)
