Audition crashes when clicking "Import / File"

Windows 10 HomeV 1909OS version 18363.778 Audition Build13.0.5.36 When clicking File / Import / File Audition freezes at popup import selection screen, then crashes.Has happened on repeated attempts. Uninstalled and then reinstalled Audition, restarted computer with cold boot, same crash results. Any help much appreciated, thanks.

Firstly, do what it says here: Audition Crashed - now what? If you paste a copy of the log file into this thread, we can tell you if there's any obvious reason for this happening.

Secondly, if you haven't set up any particular preferences in Audition, it may well be worth opening it with a 'vanilla' set and seeing if it behaves then. The way you do this is simple; start Audition with the shift key held down.
