Audition crashes when I try to open saved sesx project

Hi. I've been working on a project in Audition for 3 days. I saved the project to restart my laptop and now when I try to open it the Audition just freezes and I can't access the project anyhow, even to save it differently or export. Any advice? Can I convert .sesx into .prproj so I open it in Premiere? It's days of work and I desperately need to restore it...
