Audition crashing when applying effect rack and batch processing

Hey,

So this has been happening ever since the update that came out in late 2016/early 2017. Nearly every single time I hit "Apply" under the Effect Rack panel, Audition starts loading, and then when it reaches 100% it crashes to desktop. Then when I restart it and load up my project I'll hit "Apply" again and it'll apply my effect chain without any problem.

The same happens when I try to batch process +10 files - and it doesn't matter what the batch process does. I've tried batch processes that contain third party plugins and I've tried batch processes that don't contain any third party plugins and it still happens?

Is anyone else experiencing this? I've tried it on 4 different computers now and it happens on all four
