Audition crashing when using Premiere to "Edit Sequence in Audition"

Hi. This vital feature has stopped working for me, for mulitiple projects. Everytime I initiate, I am hit with the message:

"A previous session of Audition quit unexpectedly. You may continue the session now, delete it, or cancel to continue the session at another time."

Whether I Cancel, Delete, or Continue doesn't help. It either immediately crashes, or, lets me thru, but in an Audition setup that has my Premiere audio but not as a single multitracked session ... all just single files, just loaded up, not as an integrated project/session. If I click "Multitrack", it crashes.

I have deleted my caches and I think any old Audition projects / sessions.

Help?

You need to do what it says here:Audition Crashed. Now what? - and send the results to audbugs@adobe.com

It's worth noting that you need compatible versions of both Premiere and Audition before this will work, I believe. You said 'stopped working' though, hence using the crash report.

Or hack my way thru it and manage to keep my project going with a little bit of manual finessing, as I've done so far, fortunately. Would like to avoid sending formal crash reports as much as possible. They frequently only lead to more lost time. Just saying from experience.

Only one typical one is needed for the Developers to see what happened. No need to send one every time it happens. have you tried opening Audition with it's default settings by holding down the Shift key whilst opening the software.
