Audition CS5.5 Activation

I own Audition CS5.5.  In launching it I get a message stating my serial is already activated on 2 other devices.  Most likely due to when I upgraded my computer and did not deactivate it.  Called Adobe support, they said there is nothing they can do.  The activation servers have been deprecated.  Adobe support recommended I post to the forums for a possible solution.  Are you aware of a work around for my issue?

    Adobe suppport is very naughty. They know full well that we are a U2U forum, and have no access to anything to do with user accounts whatsoever. Not only that, but if for any reason we did provide any information relating to any sort of a workaround, we’d be in breach of our agreement with them not to do so.

     

    But what bothers me about your situation is that clearly, there’s a mechanism that notes that you have two activations already. This sounds suspiciously like the sort of thing that an activation server would do… To the best of our knowledge, then only activation server that has been ‘deprecated’ (aka had a hammer put through it) is the one that dealt with Audition 3 and anything before that. That we know. 

     

    My suggestion to you is to get straight back onto support, and inform them of the contents of this message. They are the only people who can sort this out for you, I’m afraid.
