Audition CS6 3rd Party Plug-Ins Disappeared

Well, I recently installed a boat load of free 3rd party plug-ins from various developers and they all worked fine; I loaded them into Audition via the Plug-In Manager. Well earlier today (11/25/18) I installed approx. 7 more plug-ins, in which these plug-ins were purchased. After the installation process, I went to load them in to Audition, and not only did the Plug-In Manager not find them, but the previous plug-ins that were installed and loaded into the program were all missing (AT FIRST: I did a few more scans and 4 plug-ins returned under the AU menu by an "Apple" (not sure if it's Apple as in Macintosh or some other Apple); There were also a set of free plug-ins from one particular developer by MAudio, that when scanned they show as being installed on the computer, but they were never loaded into Audition (I got the "Not Working" status and I eventually gave up on those ones); But even after deleting them from the system, they still show up (I read on another forum that this is S.O.P.), BUT NOT the ones that were previously loaded however - they don't show up as even being installed into the system anymore as Audition has failed to locate them. I'm guessing just deleting all the plug-ins and re-installing and loading them MAY do the trick but I haven't attempted it yet as it's kind of late at the time of this post, and I'm going to bed right after submitting this. Has anyone else ever had/heard of this problem and have any options available?

The first thing you need to do is check that any paths to plug-in locations are still present and correct - losing a path will cause this, obviously...

Yea one thing I forgot to mention in the original post was that during the

plug in scan by Audition, the Plug In Manager would actually "locate" the

files, as you could see as the loading bar is loading; Under the loading

bar it says Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST etc. so the paths are correct....

Also: there wouldn't be a reason for the paths to have been changed anyway

because it's not a documents folder as I'm not usually tickering around in

that area anyway.

Fine - then the next thing to check is that the files are still in the locations you think that they should be in.
