I’m running it on OS 10.10.4 on a brand new speced out 2015 Macbook Pro but it also crashed on 10.10.5 so I downgraded it. My next step is to try to get my hands on 10.10.3 (native OS for this model) and try again. On my iMac it did not crash at all like this and I was running the exact same process on Yosemite for months. I tried Audition 5.0.2 but it crashed. I tried 5.0 and it’s still crashing not even a few hours in.

I know it's an outdated software but since it works flawlessly on my iMac I am determined to find a solution and I cannot afford to settle on the "this software is outdated answer". Thank you.

I would recommend only going forward. Please stay with Au 5.0.2 at the very least. Also, if it works with your other needs, I would also recommend updating to the latest Mac OS that your system and software supports. Your crash is related to a font on your system and we've since fixed that in more recent versions of Audition CC. If you're on the latest operating system and the latest version that you can update to and you're still having an issue, I can recommend a workaround to disable the AGM system in Audition which is having the issue with a particular font.
