Audition cuts part of the audio when applying effects

Hello everyone,

First off, I have to point out i'm fairly new at Audition, so my lingo might not be on point for this.

Basically, I have a single track project opened in Audition with a couple of effects in the rack. But whenever i try to apply these effects to the audio, some parts of it are missing on the resulting track. It's not like Audition cut the track and rearranged it; the file has the same duration as before only with some audio data missing always in the same areas.

I couldn't seem to find anything that would even talk about this kind of issue anywhere on the internet. Can anyone here please help?

    Really sorry for the delay with my response.

    I'm pretty sure this was in the Waveform view. And it's not exactly that I was having difficulties applying specific effects, so much as, after having successfully applied these effects, the rendered audio (still in Audition, not an exported file) was missing split seconds of actual audio data, and always at the same time marks.

    The effects I was trying to apply were the following : multiband compressor, graphic equalizer (20 bands), and channel mixer.

      Firstly is this in the Waveform view rather than the Multitrack view? And what are the effects that you are having difficulty trying to apply?
