Audition does not play any sound anymore! (CS6 Version 5. Build 708)

Question

Hello CS6 Audition 5 users,Audition does not play any sound anymore! When loading the file (no matter which one) and the SPACE button then only sometimes plays the sound. He does not play anything, but crashes the program after a few seconds. I've used CS6 (Producion Premium) for many years now and I'm not sure what triggered it here. I have a recent Windows 7 Prof 64 bit. The funny thing is that when I play the sound file in Adobe Premiere that is wonderful. If I click the file but "Clip in Audition Edit", he opens the sound file, but it can not play. I have already reinstalled the audition, but the error is the same. I have no explanation for that. Is there someone who may know the error and has a solution? That would be helpful. Thank you.Mario.

When you load a file into Audition and try to play it does the cursor but you don't hear any sound out of your PC or does the play cursor remain stationary? This is usually down to problems with Audition losing contact with your audio interface or soundcard. What audio interface are you using?
