Audition dropped my files when saving to...studio?

Dear Community,

I'm new to Audition and am not a happy camper. After an hour of editing a voiceover I saved it to somewhere Adobe suggested (studio???) and it "dropped" half of my clips.

Staff, are you listening? This is the second major Adobe problem encountered in one afternoon. Really makes me question the quality of your products.

Hi Miriam,

Sorry to hear that. I understand creating a project in any editing software costs time and effort. I am sure your files will be safe on your computer. You can search for your project by searching the name that you have given to it or with the extension that you selected. Please check the example:

  • Purple box shows you the option where you can browse your computer and save your project
  • The red box shows you all the available formats that you can export or save your file in.

Please search for your project and let us know if you face any challenges hereafter or if I missed on anything. I'll be glad to help you in the best way I can.

Dear Shivangi,

Thanks for the input. I was able to piece the project back together. Saving to “Session” appeared to be the cause of the problem. I have now set my backup default location somewhere local to avoid that problem in the future.

We live and learn…

I just hope that my next Audition projects will be more efficient and most importantly bug-free!
