Audition Errors after 2019 Update

Hello,
I've been facing several errors after the update (in fact, they're happening with most of the programs, but audition is pretty bad)

When I Try to save anything in MP3, I can't do int on 16bit, it always saves in 32 bit. I also can't choose MP3 options in Adobe Media Encoder, it always saves in 48kHz by default.

Besides this, audition crashes on most third-party VST plugins. Also, duplicated tracks tend not to work many times.

I hope you can fix these soon.
Regards
Leonardo Ferreira

About the vst's, many of them cause problems, even native ones, if I click somewhere other than play/pause button while it's playing, the software crashes most of the times. This didn't happen until the update...

In that case it definitely needs reporting to the developers as in Audition Crashed. Now what?

    Hello, thanks for the answers.

The problem is that when I try to open the mp3 files in certain softwares it is showing an error, saying it isn't 16bit/44khz, something wrong is happening in the rendering.

About the vst's, many of them cause problems, even native ones, if I click somewhere other than play/pause button while it's playing, the software crashes most of the times. This didn't happen until the update...

About the Encoder, I'll ask in the other forum.

    Thank you!

    Best regards

This does sound more like system errors than anything else, but if you have crashes, then the way to find out what is really happening is to do what it says in this FAQ: Audition Crashed. Now what? and send the results to audbugs@adobe.com

Oh, and you can't ever save an MP3 as '32-bit' - it will be converted on the fly to whatever bitrate you've set for the MP3 file.

    Hello,
It's not a system problem, this didn't happen till now and the system is working pretty well and is also powerful.
About the MP3, It is saving as 32bit floating even when I select 16bit, it's a software error for sure.

In Audition you have to make sure that you Change the Sample Type to 16bit in the Save As settings page. Provided that is done it works OK in saving a 16bit .mp3 in my version of Audion CC 2019.

As for the crashes with VST plugins are concerned then you need to follow Steve's advice. Which plugins are causing you problems?

As far as the Media Encoder problem is concerned you will have to ask that in the AME forum. We are just Audition Users here like you and don't know much about AME I'm afraid.
