Audition Fade Envelopes Disappearing

I'm on a brand new Macbook Pro (Mojave, 2.9GHz, quad core i7, 16 gigs memory, 2133 Mhz) and using the latest Audition CC. The fade envelopes/lines in the multitrack keep disappearing. I've tried restarting the laptop. I've tried rebooting Audition multiple times. Sometimes it fixes it. Sometimes it doesn't. There have also been some other weird problems in the same session, such as icons being grayed out so you can't even change to the select tool

But the biggest problem is I literally can't see the fade lines, so I can't see what I'm doing until after I release the touchpad. Then if I try to adjust the fades, they disappear again. I've attached a video showing the problem.
