Audition freezes and flashes rapidly
Hi. Recently I have a problem with Adobe Audition on Win 10 pc that puzzles me.
As soon as I launch the program and click anywhere or try to move the application window it freezes for like 20 seconds ( say "not responding" in the window bar and goes milky white )and then unfreezes and do what I wanted to do like click or move window.
Sometimes the entire application window starts to flash very rapidly. The icon in the Win 10 activity bar also flashes and inside the win 10 activity monitor it also comes on and off. This flashing goes on for some 10-15 seconds.
The app never crash totally, it always comes back, but after 1-2-3 cicks it freezes again.
No other apps are affected when this happens. Windows and everything else work as normal during the freeze time
The only unusual behaviour I have spotted is that during launch it halts a couple of seconds on "Initializing auUI" but that could be normal, I dont know.
This has started only the last 2-3 weeks. I dont use Audition daily so I dont know exactly when. But It har woked without problems for a long time.
On my second pc I have the same version, the same windows 10 and similar setup. It works perfectly.
I have tried to
- Uninstall - reinstall
- Install a earlier version
- Disable hardware acceleration
- Disable extensions
Nothing helps.
Please, any suggestions? I cannot edit or use the app.
