Audition freezes when opening a recent project

Hi, 

 

I can open and start a project, make all the edits and then once I close the programme and reopen it to start work on the project again, the beach ball arrives and I have to force quit.  

 

This wasn't a problem last week when I was using the 2020 version. It happened this morning and every single time since.  If anyone has any advice, please get in touch!

A lot of people have been experiencing 'hanging' issues, and I believe that some investigation is taking place. One thing you can try in the meantime is to download the beta version of Audition from the CC app and try that - there are certainly some issues that it mitigates - like the one that sets Multitrack session files off-line when it shouldn't, etc. The only difference between the beta and release versions is that the beta usage is monitored, and has a couple of extra diagnostic features that you can completely ignore.
