Audition Frequency Analysis - Differences between Audition versions?

I am double-checking frequencies of sounds that I measured in 2004 with Audition, now with Adobe Audition 2022. They are different although the same sound files are used. Sometimes they are similar, sometimes they are very different. Why is this the case?
