Audition has encountered a fatal error......every time I try to create a new Mixdown

I get the dreaded "Audition has encountered a fatal error and needs to be shut down. Could not delete the file c:/Users\username\Creative Cloud Files\Audition\11.0\Backup\filename" error each and every time I try File/New Multitrack Session (or if I click on the Multitrack button next to Waveform).

I'm on the latest version of Audition CC 11.1.1.3

Running on an HPZ840 (Windows 10 Pro)

OS Build 14393.2248
