Question

Audition is not letting me save my multi track

Hi,

I'm currently working on a multi-track project in Audition and the save/ export options are greyed out. Is there anyway to fix this without loosing my work? I thought about copy and pasting the audio into a new mixdown and then re-importing the files back into the new mixdown but unsure. Was wondering if anyone knows how to solve this?

Thanks!

You appear to have an unsaved sesx file (it has an * after it). Not sure why there isn't an option to save that - they are greyed out too. Is this a session started in Audition or has it been transferred from Premiere? If you click the mouse anywhere in the track area and select Ctrl+A, you should be able to select everything. If you do this, does the 'entire session' option become available?

Hi,

This file was started in Audition. Cltrl +A hasn't made 'entire session availaible' but 'save all' now is. Would that work in the same way as the other save options? I'm quite new to the software apologies.

Save All would be a good start, but it's still not clear as to why you can't achieve a mixdown. Unless of course it's related to the video track you have in there - you can't lay audio back to video in Audition - that's now a Media Encoder job. But you should still be able to do a mixdown. The other way to select everything in a session is simply to swipe it with the mouse. Does that work?
