Audition messages appear on second screen

I always run Audition on two screens, probably due to a failure on my side the keyboard panel and other audition messages appear on my second screen instead of the first. Can't find the solution in the preferences or on this forum, does anybody know the solution? Thanks for reading and answering! Regards, René

There is nothing in the Preferences to set where messages appear. You try resetting your Workspace to the Default to see if that brings your messages back where you want them.

However I would suspect that they turn up wherever Audition expects the 'master' screen to be set, presumably, by your PC's display prefs. Can you move them back to the first screen and do they stay there if you can? Otherwise I expect that you will have to swap your screens in your operating system's/graphics card display preferences. Then you may have to rearrange your Audition Workspace to suit.

OK solved it. I went to one screen only in admin mode, opened and closed AA a few times. Extended it to two screens later on so I think Ry gave the right tip, but thank you Steve also for replying again! ! Regards René

P.S. the 24 track synchronizing goes well. Of course a few weird things while importing. Six tracks out of eight were stereo and two were mono though al import settings per channel were the same. But I solved the 'pan' issue with inserting stereo tracks, copy paste and. So solved too

Thank you for your answers. I re-tried everything you mentioned in the administrator mode. From two to one monitor and closed, default workspace, changed look settings. etc. Windows explorer opens on one. But AA messages still appear on two. It's not the end of the world but AA puts the 'save' reminder on two also, which makes you think first why AA stops at that point.

From my own experience, I suspect that's probably true. I think that they all show up in the same place that the 'about' pane does if you open it. This is certainly how it is on my three-monitor DAW.
