Audition no longer launches.

Program shows briefly in Task Manager and disappears. Audition CC 2015.2 still launches.

    still doesn't work. it worked a week age before some cc 2017 update


    It's the CC 2017.10.2 update that has caused the problem. Removed and reinstalled 2017.10.0 and it now works. Will see if 2017.10.1 also works.

    Problems with the current release notwithstanding, this constitutes a crash, so you need to follow the instructions here:

    Doesn't apply since it is not a crash and there is no screen shot or error to report. Task Manager shows it starting and then disappearing. No splash screen, no nothing. Happens on fresh reboot or whenever you launch it

    Have you checked to see if it generated a Log in the Audition settings folder?

    Also try launching with the shift key held down as this should run Audition with default settings.
