Audition not importing audio file from premiere

I am getting the following error on my Dell Desktop.

I have premiere cc also  installed on my laptop and not getting this error.

the versions are the same on both systems

Can anyone help?

I tried installing and reinstalling several times and no luck.

yes. D:\downloads is my data drive not the main C: drive

Thanks for the update.

So, your data drive is definitely "D:\downloads" and not, for instance "D:\Downloads" (notice different case letter).  Is the actual file definitely on the root of your D:\ drive, which is where AA is searching?

Obvious question, I suppose, but AA is looking to find the file in "D:\downloads".

Does that location exist on your desktop?  Is the file actually there?
