Audition not recording

Hi all,

My Audition was recording fine two days ago and I’ve set up today and created a new file in waveform - pressed record and then nothing! It doesn’t say “cannot record” or anything like that - the record button has a blue ring around it but there is no input, no waveform, no timer - just blank.

I’ve checked my hardware selections and they haven’t changed - it’s linked to a Metric Halo ULN2 ... I can’t see what else is the problem ...

Anybody have any ideas?  Advice greatly appreciated, I have to record a voiceover tonight!!!!

    If you're recording in Waveform view, the one thing that could stop it happening is that access to the temp file location isn't available. You might want to check that out...
