Hello - see video for visual of what is happening.

Basically, Audition is unable to record.  I have uninstalled, reinstalled.  Tried previous versions, rebooted my computer multiple times, but this has been happening for months now.

Does anyone know what is happening?  Here is a link to the video I made of what is happening:  https://360.articulate.com/review/content/6051e189-f346-4a4a-94f1-491ac8a80811/review

Pleas enote that it does not have audio.

Thanks!

You showed us the output settings for your sound device, but you didn't show us what the input source is set to. You may have the mic set up as the default input, but if the settings in the Properties box don't match the settings you are using in Audition, then it won't record.

Thank you so much!  I have tested the tool using your recommendations without success.  I did, however try to use the tool on a different computer and it worked, which leads me to believe that it is the computer.  It is about a year old and is a CAD computer.  I've ensured that the drivers are current.  Any other thoughts on what it could be?  Thank you

Hi joanin2000,

Need to check the input level from the Microphone. Try to record in a multi-track session. or you can check the level under the Windows sound setting recording tab.
