Audition not talking to interface

Question

I currently have the most recent version of Audition on my Mac and have been having a hard time getting my interface to talk to Audition. I have updated the drivers for my interface and I tried it out with another DAW, so I know my interface works. The issue seems to be with Adobe. Anyone else have this issue? I'm using a Scarlett 18i8.

Okay, it's a Mac and a Scarlett. If we assume that these are both working correctly, we need to know exactly what won't talk, and how you're trying to use Audition. You do realise that you have to assign specific inputs to tracks, I presume? Screengrabs of your hardware settings would help too.
