Audition Offline Clips

Question

Hello all, I was working on an Audition project recording directly to Audition, so all the files are NOT on my hard drive. The first portion of it is fine, but the files that I added on the second date appear offline, I was wondering if anyone has had the same issue?

Recording directly to anything other than a hard drive connected to your computer is asking for trouble. The worst thing you can do is try to record to a remote location using any form of wireless or internet connection. Remote locations should only be used as backup storage. So if you try to relink the offline files (which are where?), what happens?
