hi, i keep having trouble with trying to record on audition, every time i start to record it says "the sample rates of the audio input and output devices do not match. Audio cannot be recorded until this is corrected."  what should i do?? its the same audio hardware that i have used for 6 months and has worked just fine up until last night.

Well the microphone is a fairly straightforward condenser mic. It's the interface box that may or may not be causing issues here - what is it? Basically we need to know whether it's internal hardware in your PC that you are using to digitise the mic output, or an external converter. If it's the internal device, then you need to go to the Sound settings and make sure that the default rates set are the same, but if it's an external device, the answer may be different - hence needing to know which.
