Audition recording in WASAPI crackling sound on playback.

Hello, Ive been trying to record on audition and everytime I record it using WASAPI there is a weird crackle sound that I cant seem to get rid. I have tried changing the latency but nothing works. Any suggestions?

What is your audio interface?
Can you not use an ASIO driver or even asio4all (http://www.asio4all.org/) ?

Even MME is more up-to-date than WASAPI. Regardless of any other consideration, you shouldn't really be using it anyway on a modern OS.

If i go with just 2 microphones on MME it works just fine!


I'm havig the same problem. I have 3 microphones using WASAPI and it sounds terrible.
