Question

Audition's interface doesn't work, no matter how much I reinstall

I bought all apps of Adobe Creative Cloud, but I need Audition most right now. When I try to open it, the GUI is all messed up, and the prompt bars don't display anything (see attached). I tried to reinstall Audition, even deleting directly from Program Files, but it doesn't do anything. How can I fix this?

Apparently there seems to be a problem here as well. I checked my post before sending it and look how it came out >:| .

I think a screenshot, similar to the one the OP posted, would be helpful here!

It doesn't look like a crash, but it does look like a failure to load correctly.

Initially, you need to go to the crash page though, because that's how you are going to find the log file that's created every time Audition attempts to start. And without having a look at that, we'd have no idea at all of what is causing this. To locate it, look at the information on this page: Audition crashed - now what?  If you post the log file here, then if it's obvious we'll be able to tell you. If it isn't, then it goes to the devs.

The other thing of course is that if you've purchased the software, you're entitled to free installation help from the helpdesk, and that might initially be the best way to go.

The log file is supposed to read in English. That one comes out as garbage! There may be something seriously wrong with your computer...

I've seen viruses produce results like that.
