Audition "toggle editor" missing / not working

With one of the latest Audition updates, the "Toggle Editor" function has stopped working. Toggling between multitrack and waveform is a routine part of my workflow, which I do with a Command-Tilde keyboard shortcut. I've double-checked, and reassigned the shortcut, and it doesn't work. I also can't find Toggle Editor in the pulldown menu, or anywhere else. Anyone know what happened to, or how to restore, this feature?

I don't know what you've done, but it works fine here in the latest release using the default F12. Is this on a Mac or a PC?

I'm on a Mac - M2 Mini.

Update: I assigned "Toggle Editor" to ";" and to "Command-;" - both work fine. The problem is that now, ANY shortcut to "Command-`" (the key to the left of "1") does not work. Works fine with no modifier key, and with "option-`", just not with "command". Maybe this is related to an Apple OS update?
