Audition Track Panning doesn't play back correctly

Hi everyone!

My first post over here. Usually I find a solution for every issue, but this time I just couldn't.
I'm currently working on a surround sound mix and noticed, that while I can use "touch" or "write" to move the sound around in the track panner, I can't play it back correctly. The issue is, that the volume of all speakers (=the grey bars) stays in the final position of the writing process. So if for example I end with the sound on the very left, no sound will come out of the right speakers throughout the whole track.
As I said - it looks fine when I write it - the volume increases and decreases as I move around.
What am I missing here? Does anybody have an idea?
