Audition & Waves v11

Hi all,

Just wanted to share something I went through this morning...

I upgraded my Waves plugins to v11. When opening Audition's effects rack, the program sees that they are there. However, when I click on an effect I want to add they will not load. Audition's preloaded plugins load fine.

I attempted to enter Plugins Manager to see if I needed to rescan for the new versions. When I clicked Plugin Manager, Audition 'greys' out and locked up. After that, the only way to shut down Audition is to do a hard shut down in Task Manager.

After this a couple times, I uninstalled and reinstalled Audition. Upon re-install Plugin Manager worked fine and all my updated Waves plugins would load.

Just wanted to put that out there in case anyone else experiences similar issues.

Thanks for sharing.I had Waves 11 and found no-issue with Audition. I have since rolled back to Waves 10 but that has nothing to do with Audition.That is not to negate your experience but just to point out that this probably isn't happening across the board.Anyway, good to know
