Audition will not open

The first thing you should do is to look at this FAQ:

Audition Crashed - now what? 

It may not look like a crash, but that doesn't matter - the log is created every time you even try to open Audition, never mind whether this is sucessful or not. Send the results to audbugs@adobe.com and if you want, post the log file here - if it's anything simple or obvious it's relatively easy to spot what it is that's causing this.
