Question

Audition will not unsync to dropbox

I have deleted both the computer version and my online account of dropbox, I have also deleted the synced folders and yet Audition does not allow me to save to anything but DropBox. Please help as this has made Audition basically unusable.

Are you saying that if you attempt to use Save As, you don't get this dialog box, and can't browse to another location?

Yes, so I go to select the file location, and it insists that the file is synced to Dropbox, even if I select a file that is not connected to Dropbox, it still has Dropbox in the file address. I then deleted Dropbox from my computer, deleted the account entirely, deleted the files on my computer, rebooted my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled audition making sure I didn't save preferences and it is still insisting on saving to Dropbox. It created another synced file to replace the one I deleted, even tho Dropbox shouldn't be anywhere near my computer anymore. I hope this makes sense!

So what happens if you select 'Browse' and choose a location that isn't anything to do with Dropbox? I did also wonder whether this would have anything to do with file properties, but I don't think it does; they can only determine what app you use to open a file, not save it.

Have you tried saving a file not in the same format and seen what happens then? Also, is it really only Audition this is happening with?

What happens when you try to save to a local disc?

It inserts Dropbox into the file address automatically.
