Audition won't Playback - UltraStudio 4k

Hi

Has anyone had problems with Audition since updating their UltraStudio 4k? App is opening, files are opening but when play is pushed button goes green but time bar doesn't move and track doesn't play.

I have to amend my reply...

Although BM Desktop Video 10.9.7 appeared to work on the UltraStudio 4K last year, after re-applying it this year it fails to work with Audition!!

Going back to Desktop Video 10.5.4 for the US4K seems to work though! (10.9.7 is still good for the UltraStudio Express though)

The problem is with the Blackmagic Desktop Video software.

We updated to 10.11.2 and had the same problem as you. (In addition Audition + Premiere both had sound distortion!!)

Going back to BM's Desktop Video 10.9.7 (which we were running last year before updating) cured all these problems both on the UltraStudio 4K and on the UltraStudio Express units that we use.

That will be purely down to a problem with Audition not seeing your audio drivers properly. What update was done to the UltraStudio interface? You might find that going into Audition's Audio Hardware preferences and cycling through some of the settings will make the UltraStudio reappear properly in Audition.
