Auti-heal multitrack / none-destructive?

I've read about the Auti-heal feature, but is there a way to do this in a none-destructive mannar? Like on the multitrack?

    No, sorry, not possible. It's a waveform modifier, and you can't do that in a non-destructive environment. Apart from any other considerations, the amount of undo data this would involve would be colossal. In Waveform view that is relatively straightforward, because it uses the temp file system to generate steps backwards, but this isn't available to use in the same way in Multitrack.
