Auto Ducking and Round Tripping

I can figure out how to actually set up auto ducking in Audition. However I'm having a problem round tripping a background music file into Premiere Pro. I expected that the original wav file would just have been changed and saved so that Premiere Pro could just run it, the way a sound cleanup works. However when I save the file the name I get for it  includes the phrase "extracted". Can anyone explain how to round trip file from Premiere Pro, auto duck in Audition, and return it to Premiere Pro?
