Automated default fades in/out for multiple clips?

Not the first time I try to adress this, but with 2019 out, I still don't undertsand why Adobe wouldn't develop such a critical feature.

Why can't I apply a set fade/transition to a bunch of clips all at once (like "apply default transition" on Premiere Pro) whereas it's possible in every single other audio editing software out there?

I work in voice over production, and this really lacks in Audition. And no, of course I don't want to be moving by mouse some aproximate fades...

If you're working in Waveform view there is a default crossfade time for edits you make. You can change the default from 5ms to something else suitable. Nothing I know of for Mulitrack but this may get you some way towards what you're looking for. Here is the option in the Preferences window:
