Bad Build 24 issue

Yikes!  Build 24 seems like a big step back in performance.  I updated today and then rebooted.  Now Audition can no longer playback my multitracks without stalling and jittering, like it can't keep up.

I'm not sure what I can do other than see if I can reinstall the prior version somehow.

The other thing that's happened today is that Microsoft have done a huge update - certainly to Windows 10 (I won't use 11 until forced to). I've done the update to 24, also the Windows update, loaded a session (admittedly only 6 tracks) and it plays fine without any jumping, jittering or stalling at all. If what you are experiencing was happening to everybody, I would have expected rather more comments about it by now, so I suspect at the moment that it's something about your system. Of course if there are a deluge of comments, I'd have to revise this - but then you'd have to explain why it's working fine here!
