Batch Process Music Beds for 8 Separate Tracks Possible?

Hello all!

I am a fairly new Adobe Audition user.  I record weathercasts for a local radio station, and use Team Viewer to  upload them into their content management system.

I need help with this.  I record weather as 8 separate files, then I run a batch process to work a few effects and save them into a folder where I can transfer them.  I would like to add a music bed underneath them, and use one single process to add the music bed into them all, and save them.

Is there a way to do something like this other than having to re-add them one by one into Audition and add the bed individually.  I would like to see if there is a way to expand the Batch process to add the music bed into them all, after I process the effects for the voice files, and save them all individually automatically.

Is this possible?  If so how?

    Yes that can be done. But first you have to Record a Favorite that you can apply within your Batch Process. First of all though can we assume that all the eight versions are the same length and that the music bed is tailored to fit that single length?

    To Record your new custom Favorite first open one of your weather forecast files in Audition's Waveform view. Then go to the Favorites menu and Start Recording Favorite. Select all of your WF file and go to Edit/Mix Paste. From the Paste Type column select Overlap (Mix) and in the Audio Source box From File. Browse to your music bed file and select it. You may have to set the Copied Audio level a bit lower (depending on it's recorded level) to suit required mix. Click OK to make the Mix Paste happen. Finally go to Favorites Stop Recording Favorite and give the new custom Favorite a name. It will then appear in the Favorites menu.

    You can then use Batch Process to add the mix to all your weather forecast files selecting your music bed Favorite to apply to all the files.
