Question

Batch Processing in Audition doesn't alter clips after running

Hi all.

Not sure if I should call this a bug, but here's my issue.

Runing a batch process in Audition has no effect on the audio of my clips, either in my timeline, or even on the new file.

This use to work some years back, but haven't needed to apply it until now.

Made a screen recording to show the issue for anyone who can spare some of their precious time and attention, any assistance, thoughts or comments greatly appreciated: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/3qcmmjo4rjkp1hvueqao0/Audition-Batch-Processing_issue.mp4?rlkey=97v4r56dd2e2cclm1hj96shfq&dl=0

Best, Alex

Thanks for reporting back. I was beginning to think along similar lines...

Steve,

Found the problem.

In my export settings, I did not check "Overwrite existing files" which is why the new wav file created in my timeline would not update.

I am such an idiot. 😔

Hi SteveG,

Should be updating into my Premiere Pro Project, or directly in the timeline like the initial example.

Does this help answer your question?

Ta.

It's not clear from your video - where does the batch process think it's outputing the clips to?
