Can AA Automatically Adjust Audio To Target Loudness?
Is there a way to tell AA that a piece of audio should have an average loudness of, say, -15 dB, and then perform the needed dynamics adjustments and normalizing such that the audio ends up with that average loudness?
It seems like it would require AA to make certain "decisions" about compression settings that might not be what you actually want.
At the same time, it also seems like it should be possible. If so, how would I go about doing that?
In the past, I've done my own dynamics processing, checked the average volume, and did trial-and-error until I hit the target average (RMS using the older 3.0 version of AA).
Thoughts?
Thanks!
