Can Audition automatically recognise tracks from an imported MP3?
I have an MP3 file that I imported from atape using reshow cassete.

Can Audition recognise each and split in individual files?
Audition doesn’t work natively with MP3 files at all. It decodes them to Wav files when it opens them, and if you use this process to split MP3’s, it’s rather lossy, because they have to be re-encoded again before storing them as separate files. There are some dedicated MP3 splitters out there, and for simply splitting MP3’s they are rather better than using Audition. I don’t think that there is any software that will automate the process though.
