Can Audition create DVD-Audio?

Question

I've been searching the internet trying to find out if Audition can create the DVD-Audio format.  I have a phono amp that I can connect to my MBP and record audio from vinyl, but still have questions about how to capture and save it as a 24-bit DVD-Audio DVD (not an audio-only DVD-Video disk.)  Also wondering, do I need special media for this, or is DVD-R they type of disk used for Audio-DVD?  Thank you very much for your help!

No, Audition can't write to DVD at all. It only handles CDs. You'd need software like https://www.videohelp.com/software/DVD-Audio-Tools for instance, to do this. Audition can handle 24-bit audio without any difficulty, but has no means of writing it to that physical format.
