Question

Can Audition help repair the outcome of bizarre iPhone recording bug?

Hi, I hoping someone can suggest a way to use Audition to salvage the audio on a few recordings I made of a solo music performance this weekend.  Somehow, the audio for each of the five short videos I recorded ended up with the narration from the Audible audio book I'm currently listening to embedded on top of the music and vocals.     Is there any way that I can use any of the noise reduction/restoration effects, or any other Audition tools, to isolate and remove the audio book track?    Obviously, I can access the audio book narration itself (from Stephen King's '11/22/63...') to create any noise prints or samples needed.

Thanks in advance for any advice ! These are sort of irreplacible tracks.

Sorry, i don't think you'll be able to do this. NR only really works on noise, not actual content. In theory you could line up the talking book sounds and subtract them from your recording, but for this to work the line-up has to be sample-perfect, and with an identical level, and that's pretty much impossible to achieve, even with good originals - this process is not fault tolerant in the slightest. But alas, it would be the only one that would work...
