Question

Can't choose Waveform

Hi there, I'm pretty new in Audition. Have done some adjustments on my audio file but want to work with keyframes to adjust the loudness in clips. There is no line in the waveform editor for an envelope to work with keyframes. How can I activate this?

Thanks

Keyframes are not available in Waveform view. You need to import your file into Multitrack view, add the keyframes there, and mix down the result to a new file. Waveform view is a destructive file handler - any changes you make are permanent once you save them, but Multitrack view is non-destructive, so you can redo things easily, and generally do a lot more than you can in Waveform.
