Question

Can't figure out how to make monotracks sound good

Hi guys
I have recorded my first podcast on a Zoom H6 using 2 PodMics and XLR-cables. The sound on each of the tracks is good - until I make a multitrack and place the two mono-tracks under each other. Then the sound is suddenly noisy and only gets good, once i mute one of the tracks.
Does it makes sense? And what do I do wrong?

Are you using a template? If so, which one?

Hey Steve

Yes, I have chosen the "Podcast"-template..

I am sure SteveG will respond, but the concensus of opinions here seems to be that using the "Podcast" template is possibly the worst thing you could do!   Try startiing your Multitrack session using the "None" template.
