Can't hear Audio

Hey the Adobe Audition software (3.0) was working fine, had a power outage & with all appearing to be back to normal, was surprised that we now can't hear audio within the AA software.   We can hear all desired audio if we play thru Windows media, but NOT when we try to play using the AA software.  Is there possibly something in settings i need to check?   Any suggestions please?

What audio interface are you using? You probably also need to check Audio Hardware Setup in Audition 3.0 to check that you have the correct audio device selected for use in both Edit and Multitrack views.
