Can't hear playback in Audition but settings are correct

Question

I just installed Audition, but I'm not getting any sound through my headphones. I can hear in other applications (youtube), and the output selection on both Audio Channel Mapping and Audio Hardware are both correct (see screenprints below). The waveform is showing and the section below shows the levels.

Please help!

This looks like a Windows routing issue, not an Audition one; if the transport moves (which if the level meters are working would seem to be the case) then it's connected to a viable sound device. Although I'm intrigued - if this is the second output, what happens if you try the first?
