Can't hear playback when moving the playhead with arrow keys

Question

Is there a way to hear sound when moving the playhead using arrow keys? I already activated playback while scrubbing, but it does not work when only pressing the arrow keys once. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Generally the approach to this isn't to use the arrow keys. Yes, if you hold one down you will get a broken-up sort of audio, which quite frankly isn't worth having - but if you want to hear much better scrubbing, then use the J,K and L keys. You can program their behaviour in Preferences>Playback but note that hitting the J and L keys repeatedly will speed up your audio.
