Cannot copy/paste multi track time selection

Question

I have a two track session. However I cannot find a way to copy and paste both tracks.

My end goal is to batch export many (20+) files based on markers that I made over the 90 minutes of the recording.

And the first step of that goal is to copy the time slices from the session and paste them each into new sessions of their own.

However, I have tried many different ways to copy and paste a time slice from both tracks but only the time slice from the first track gets copied.

When you make the track selection, hover the mouse over each track individually and click on it whilst holding the Ctrl key down. This will highlight both tracks, and just using Ctrl-C will copy both of them, and you will be able to paste them into a new session without any difficulty. I just tried it to make sure, and it works fine here.
